A hermit, let's call him Sam, was living alone in the mountains. One day, a herdswoman, happened to pass by his cave. Intrigued, the herdswoman shouted at the hermit and asked, "What are you doing alone in the middle of nowhere?"
The hermit replied, "I am meditating."
"What are you meditating on?" asked the herdswoman.
"On patience," said the hermit.
There was a moment of silence. After a while, the herdswoman decided to leave. Just as she turned to go, she looked back at the hermit and shouted, "By the way, you are going to hell!"
"What do you mean? I am going to hell!" came flying back.
The herdswoman laughed and reminded the hermit that he was supposed to be practicing patience!
Photos ~ "The Tibetan Plateau or Himalayan Plateau, is a vast elevated plateau in Central Asia and East Asia. It is sometimes called "the Roof of the World" because it stands over 3 miles (4.8 km) above sea level and is surrounded by imposing mountain ranges that harbor the world's two highest summits, Mount Everest and K2, and is the world's highest and largest plateau, with an area of 2,500,000 square kilometres (970,000 sq mi) (about five times the size of Metropolitan France). The southern and eastern edges of the steppe have grasslands which can sustainably support populations of nomadic herdsmen and herdswomen, although frost occurs for six months of the year." ~ Wikipedia
