Go With It

"... that movement can be like a still small voice as they say. That movement will never justify itself. It will never tell you why and will never give you guarantees. It's just a movement. It's like going in to a river and asking, "If I go in to that movement in the river, will it take me anywhere". Is the river going to say anything? Give you any guarantees? Have any relationship with your mind? You either go with it or you don't. That's like a navigational aid. And when you realize that the thing that will justify itself "Yes, this is the right direction" If it says that, at least a yellow light if not a red light! Because mind, ego, will usually give justifications and certainties and will give all these feedback to make you feel good about your decision.

Pretty soon you'll just realize than when you'll get more and more in touch with this flow, that this flow is much more intelligent than the mind. It's actually choosing without a chooser. Eventually you'll get so integrated in to that, one with that, the thing that notices the movement sort of collapses and then there is just the movement. That's all there is. There's not somebody... there's not the watching of it, seen of it or detecting of it. But that's where it starts usually. As that gets well developed then the thing that is going with the movement and noticing the movement starts to kinda like shhhhhhh and pretty soon there's just...

You become the river." - Adyashanti, Expressions of the infinite
