Thank you Francis Fran Bennett for your audacity.

"THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM..... :P
There is an elephant in the room.......an elephant in a pink and purple poke-a-dot dress, tasteful accessories, a french manicure, and sensible shoes to be exact! And I myself am that elephant! :P
The "problem" with me being a "spiritual teacher" for many folks, (or at least for some), is that they simply unconsciously feel that an LGBT or Q person cannot really be spiritually awakened just as they are......Somewhat surprisingly to me, this is often very conscious in some people and they will come right out and say it with no ambiguity or apology.....but it is often also not a completely conscious thing in everyone influenced by the assumption.....and yet can nonetheless run deep in the subconscious of many of us...even unfortunately in some of us who are LGBTQ ourselves........ If you doubt this, I invite you to just answer my email or my Facebook messenger texts for a week and see for yourself. It is sad, but all too true. :( But the LGBTQ are out of the closet and they are not going back into the closet....They are part of the spiritual community too, even if some people may not be completely comfortable with that fact. None of us queer folk are going away...We are here to stay.....and in reality, we always have been all along.
This is part of the reason God/Life has called me to this work....to help dispel this all too common assumption and prejudice.
This is part of my teaching/message. The fact that I am transgender is NOT a distraction from my teaching...it is an essential part of it..I am not going to remain quiet about it because it may make some folks uncomfortable. And it is an aspect of my teaching that is primarily taught without words, but by the very simple presence and force of my being itself..... And that simple message is this: ANY of us can awaken. It is the human heritage and birth right of us all......Gay, straight, cisgender or transgender, black or white, male or female, young or old........We are all right on the verge of seeing clearly who we are on every level of our being....and that we all personally have beautiful gifts to give to Life just by being fully ourselves..... whoever we may be. <3 ~your fran
