Through God's Eyes

I heard something like this years ago.
Let him or her who has ears to hear...

"When we really leave the story of me behind and we see life through the eyes of God and then we no longer have that demand innately in the ego to feel good, the demand to feel free, to be right, to be acknowledged to be loved. The demands of the ego want all of this. And to be free of that demand, to be free of that wanting is liberation. To be free of the thing that wants liberation is liberation. And then there is a different orientation because life is not a constant pursuit of any experience.

It is about what your spiritual impulse was ultimately always about from the very beginning, it was Life or Spirit's innate desire to experience itself, to be in awe, to participate, to live on that frontier, to see God in everything. At first you see God in the easy stuff, the beautiful stuff. Then you see God in the little more difficult things: Someone is disagreeing with you and you see God in them and you see that is so perfect and so beautiful that they disagree with and so sweet that they see it differently than you do because it is God doing it there.

And it is not just a thought or a nice spiritual philosophy, you actually see it and you actually feel it. And then you see it in more and more challenging situations, and you see it life and you see it in death. In death you see that it is God having the experience of death. But you see, it's not just a philosophy, you see it and you feel it and you know it. You can stay in touch with divinity in more and more aspects of life. And that is what I am interested in. And I think that is what people are interested in."
